Q: Why Am I Weepy?

A: Deep ancient ravines of contextual matter are surfacing for me this week. And Chiron has a lot to do with it. If you don’t know what Chiron refers to, it is an indelible asteroid named after the mythological centaur teacher of Achilles and Asclepius. His life is a profound story of making gold from the gutter. Not only did he survive cosmic traumas but he thrived in becoming a wisdom keeper and a true guiding light for many heroes throughout Greek Mythology. Wherever this asteroid lives in your chart, it is teaching you about your core wounding and how you can transmute it for both your own healing and eventually become the wounded healer for others in your life. Any healer you’ve ever been to is only a healer because they’ve healed themselves of something.

What does this mean? Someone can’t just be a healer. You have to either earn it (watch for the pseudo healers who only attend trainings - it is best to work with someone who knows how to heal from within) or be born into a lineage and even then have to earn it. This is a truth but one that is often learned the hard way, especially for those seeking outside for the answers. I will be the first to raise my hand having trudged through my fair share of “healers” only to be exposed to some of the worst and scariest forms of fraudulent “healing”. Thankfully, I am alive and well and can bring awareness to this shadowy realm of “awakening”. CHIRON IN ARIES

Chiron has been hugging the North Node in Aries while accompanying the nodes through the recent eclipse cycles. As we near the lunar full moon eclipse on March 25th and the new moon solar eclipse on April 8th, I cannot deny the vital force of healing that is moving through me in powerfully uncomfortable ways. Chiron on the North Node indicates that whatever is being invited to be healed is destined as a threshold crossing into the new chapter for each of us, whatever that may be. There is always a cost for growth and evolution and typically it is the price of giving up an old way of being.

UNCONSCIOUS WAYS OF BEING

For me, the old way of being I am wrestling with, or rather simply weeping with as I slowly surrender more and more of my unconscious resistance, has to do with my autonomy and sovereignty of my power. I happen to be exploring double Chiron Pluto transits meaning transiting Chiron is opposing my Pluto and transiting Pluto is squaring my Chiron. I feel this and it is very deep and this invitation to heal requires a lot of my presence in the underworld at this time. It is quite something to balance with my daily activities in the upperworld, and although I’ve been in a very Plutonic cycle for years, this one is yet again new and unfamiliar.

The eclipse cycle coming this spring, the March 25th full moon lunar eclipse at 5° Libra, and the April 8th new moon solar eclipse at 19° Aries are continuing the theme initiated in October upon the relationship axis of self and other. So how you relate to yourself and others, as well as somehow finding the sweet spot of what lives between the two are up for continued review. And not only review, most likely there will be action in one direction or another, specifically moving closer together or towards completion.

The details of this time will depend upon where you have Aries and Libra gazing across the cosmos from each other inside your birthchart as well as what planetary archetypes are being activated within them or from them. Leading up to an eclipse is always an interesting time to get a current transit reading to garner support in your personal assessment and preparation for what you are releasing and rebirthing.

INTENSE INNER WORK

I am stunned at the depth that is surfacing for me right now. Isn’t it amazing how endless and relentless inner work is? Thank goodness I love it so much otherwise I would certainly feel overwhelmed right now. Instead, I am observing myself and in total awe of what is emerging for me to face about myself, my past, and what will eventually become my future if I am able to triumphantly live this process from Being rather than anything else.

MOVING FORWARD, NO RETROGRADES

There are no retrograde planets right now until Mercury leads the way on April 1st (right in the midst of the eclipse portal, more on this later). The planetary momentum is perceivably moving forward with Uranus having stationed direct on January 27th clearing the air to forge ahead where you are inspired to do so. And…It is a very strong time. Intensity is found in any direction without seeking it. Most of us are asking difficult questions of ourselves and if you are not, I would ask myself why. Now is the time to do inner work if there ever has been. At moments when the world appears to spin further off its own axis, your center of gravity remains a sanctuary if you’ve done your work to find it. I wish this for each one of us, a connection to that which is true, a communion with that which is real.
