Q: What Brings This New Moon?

A: A new beginning is on the horizon, the beginning of something extraordinary. Can you feel it? Have you been intuiting a change but haven’t been exactly sure what that change would be? It is quite possible that over the next two weeks, you shall receive the clarity, the confidence, and that extra boost of luck you’ve been waiting for.

WHAT YOU PLANT WILL GROW

A Taurus New Moon is one of fecund and fertile soil for planting seeds of vision, projects, health, and wealth. Six years ago, this month, I started writing and publishing this journal on a weekly basis on the Taurus New Moon just as Uranus entered this kingdom. I haven’t missed or skipped a beat with Uranus in Taurus fueling this embodied expression of my rebellious internal revolution. And today’s moon is amplified, blessed by the most benefic planetary bodies in our galactic neighborhood. Venus in Taurus showers us with radiant love pulses as well as a magnetic pull to steep in our values and truly recognize what is important to us. Venus rules Taurus so this frequency just. feels. good. Here, Venus supports you to get crystal clear on your priorities, and when you do, everything else falls into place accordingly. Jupiter in the Taurean mix encourages abundance and growth. This is an expansive seed you are planting so pay attention to what it is you sow in this Taurean earth as it will grow!

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Every new moon is both a fresh start and the end of the last moon cycle. Think of this moment as a threshold crossing; an opportunity to let go and shed weight from your most recent inner work processes. It is a time to look back on the month you’ve just lived and gain clarity through understanding. And due to the nature of any threshold, change beckons. Not only in letting go but also in creating something new. Uranus in Taurus is also conjunct this moon, bringing sheer unpredictability as well as some poetic electric shock to this moment. Change is necessary and yet sometimes, especially in Taurus, there can be a slow-to-move, stubborn to-shift, and some inertia to contend with. Uranus will take care of that, don’t worry…and keep an open mind to all possibilities.

THE END IS NEAR

On another note: Pluto went retrograde as of May 2nd and is very slowly pulling our focus to review our relationships and power struggles wherever the Aquarius/Capricorn cusp may land in your chart. Whether you are personally feeling this and navigating this internally or externally, we are bound to traverse the final return of Pluto retrograde through Capricorn on a collective level. Pluto stations direct in Capricorn on October 11th just in time for the highly anticipated 2024 US presidential election.

The very stoic and serious bridge between Capricorn and Aquarius is also one of rebellion and revolution. Pluto is finally wrapping its transit through Capricorn with a climatic expression of the end of the worst (let’s hope) of the Patriarchal era. Two of the oldest presidential candidates in history, 81 and 77 years old, are prompting more political conversations about their deaths than their lives. The end is near. The end of what you ask? Pluto is Lord of the underworld, death, rebirth, and transformation. The end is near for the manifesting shadows of Capricorn which are emerging to the surface in order to be worked on within our own psyches. The end is near for the government as we know it. These structures are barely hanging on and with Pluto moving into Aquarius, new thoughtforms are birthing which will be reflected in these very structures and institutions of our future.

SEEDS OF CHANGE

And let’s face it, the end is near for both of their lives (the leading candidates that no one likes), I mean - relatively, they are closer to the end than the beginning.
