What Does Partnership Look Like to You?
Q: What Does Partnership Look Like to You?
A: We have entered into the autumnal season, where the fruit is ripe on the vine and the winds are stirring. Change is everywhere and decisions are to be made. The weighted balance of dual nature is reflected in that of man and woman, hot and cold, near and far. Tis the season to explore the equilibrium of life. Libra asks, “To be or not to be?” and the skillful initiate knows the answer at any cost.
A new moon in Libra inspires love, harmony, and the exploration of partnership. Partnership, whether in marriage or business, lives and breathes amongst the trees of life, calling us into the deeper terrain of our layered souls, touching upon that which we cannot reach alone. “I see you,” whispers partnership…there is nowhere to hide from ourselves, it is time to be seen.
Our relationship with another is emphasized and we are encouraged to engage with them in ways we might haven’t yet explored. This is the time to reinvent ourselves in their reflection and revamp our life through inspired emergence of possibility. For all of us hermits (Cancers), cave dwellers (Capricorns) and deep divers (Scorpios), being exposed can be a haunting premise. Yet, how else would we be able to fully express the gifts and buried treasures we carry within?
Libra asks us to share…to share our love, our talents, our beauty, our insights. This is a social sign, an invitation to come out and play. In intimacy and in work, there are opportunities to know another if we are willing. For some this comes naturally, for others we have been betrayed or traumatized and are a bit more cautious as opposed to diving in head first. Although, the new moon quincunx Uranus in Taurus indicates change, possibly substantial, in our daily life, home, career, and/or finances. There is nothing comfortable about this and if you are a visceral learner, this may arise in the tension between your shoulders or those headaches you’ve had recently.
Where are you standing in your values? What is the invitation you are receiving that asks you to stretch? Pay attention to this moment of crossroads knowing that either way will indicate dramatic shifts as to what you have currently known before. Life shall never, ever be the same…again.
These times are exciting... unknown and maybe daunting. With Venus in sextile to Jupiter, the signs point to good fortune and grace as a probable outcome to this moment of unearthing. Squares at the helm include Neptune and Jupiter, as well as Pluto squaring both Venus and Mercury. Translation: In order to overcome the strongholds that can keep us in certain habits and behaviors, we may be forced to change the ways in which we relate, sacrificing some ‘beloved’ shadow-esque behaviors while undergoing an arduous process of working to change our mind.
Working on oneself is deeply satisfying and an honorable life’s work. Of course, this can be done alone, with God in your still, sacred place. Sometimes I sense my personal tendencies leaning in this direction, perhaps having lived many a life as a monk or priestess, yet as my God Parents say, “relationship is a path to awakening.” And I trust, this time around, that this to be my path as well. Thus partnership is an invitation to be who we truly are, to be seen and heard... to hear and to see. To give and receive, to love and be loved. To see God in another and live into what is possible in the container of commitment to another. To have each other’s backs and to inspire, heal and support when the other is down. A partnership is a path, a journey, an exploration of self, which reveals magic and challenge to grow beyond comfort every step of the way.
