What’s Your Next Move?
Q: What’s Your Next Move?
A: Inward bound. I am feeling the gravitational pull into the cocoon of solstice days ahead. For the last three deep winters, I’ve found myself drawn into the Northwest Isles of Canada. It is a land and sea governed by eagles, whales, and mossy mounts of rugged terrain. There is a sweetness, as well as a majesty that has seeped into my soul, is relentless with my heart, and calls me back as if a siren’s song. The allure is profound and it is there that I find myself burrowing into my own unfathomable inner sunlit landscapes beyond time and space.
And now on this new moon in Sagittarius, I witness the assessment of the past decade self-organizing within my subconscious mind. The centaur’s wisdom provides vast objectivity that can be quite useful as I enter further into a review of the inventory of my last ten years of life. What was the overarching lesson that was gifted to me during this time? What obstacles have I overcome? What are the victories of my heart?
This heated aspect of Uranus in Taurus opposite Mars in Scorpio is an ungrounding force of energy which will require high levels of patience and vigilance over irritability. While many of us are coming together with families for the holidays, it would be wise to bring along our practices…meditation, breathing, empathy, and observation of self are critical in this transit.
As the Sagittarius aura instills an explorative nature, the Moon conjunct Sun quincunx Uranus may both raise the energetic stakes as well as bounce them like a pinball machine without focus. What can you do to creatively ground and organize yourself amidst this unsettling moment? Perhaps only you truly know what works for you. Learn to wield this energy and you will have made some very significant progress in your heart and mind.
On this eve of radical change which is setting the tone for the next month ahead, I witness the upheaval of concepts of ‘the known’ within my own inner world. For example, Joan of Sparc just amplified into a new birth of welcoming the men in our lives to adventure with us into the heroine’s journey. For how many years have we as women walked the hero’s path only to find ourselves masculinizing our own story? As we are both masculine and feminine, solar and lunar, I rejoice in this bold step towards the unification and harmonization of our power as humans.
My hope is that we go beyond the struggles of past into a shared sense of equanimity and learning from one another. That we ease into the discomfort that calls us into unprecedented growth and that we may tread lightly on the soil of our relations as we nourish the gardens of our co-creations together…
Aho
