Q: How Do You Birth a Reality?

A: Birthing a reality is a commonplace event. Each of us has created our personal bubble in response to our current life circumstances. Regardless of what is occurring to us externally, which may very well be out of our control, we are deeply responsible for our internal experience--almost a parallel reality if you will.

A key to our personal freedom is when we can travel between our inner and outer world with seamless grace and ease. We are one. We are transparent. And...We are living a congruent truth. There is no hiding, need for secrets, and no shame/guilt that can survive such a luminescent attitude. There are shadows yet, and if we are humble in our approach, we can transmute that darkness into our empowerment.

The full moon in Pisces lures us deeper into our dream state. This is an alternative reality that co-exists simultaneously to our awareness of life in the outer realms. The dream state is layered and complex, a region of the inner world. This is not the land of daydreams, wishes, and hopes...rather, it is a portal into the furthering of our inner knowledge of Self.

Venus in Cancer is opposite Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn. This face-off of destiny from the Maternal and Paternal realms of the zodiac is powerfully accompanied by Mars in Aries, also squaring the Saturn/Pluto conjunction with Jupiter. We have not seen a light-hearted chart across the astrological skies of 2020 and the current cosmic weather continues to forge us from within. Venus, our feminine power, finances, and relationships, holds steady in Cancer highlighting how we emotionally relate in each of these areas as the tractor beam of karma and transformation (Saturn/Pluto) indicate a revolutionary prowess that could instigate just the right amount of upheaval (Uranus sextile to the full moon), to spur a necessary dose of liberation.

And Mars? Our masculine, depending on our personal level of maturation and integrity, will certainly force slow uncomfortable friction to bring forth eventual action. A retrograde dance while aspecting square the potent duo (Saturn/Pluto) will prime us for an election and finale to a year we’ve never seen before.

Birth is a state of being that occurs in both of the kingdoms described - our inner and outer world. It is a moment of intensified discomfort when we realize who we have been is now in the  process of dissolving to the point of no return. It is this very act of death that then births the new. The paradox holds within it a grieving of the old and a terror of the unknown with potential enthusiasm if we are able to get out of our way.

The organism has the imprint of its full expression while in gestation. We as human beings, due to our adaptive consciousness and the ability to transmute negativity and pain into usefulness, may live through hundreds if not thousands of birth, death, and transformative cycles in a lifetime.

However, this is not given. This is earned. Hard-earned. There is an alternative, and this is to let ego guide your fate. In that case, we live as mechanical beasts seeking pleasure to numb our pain and so we go, around and around the samsaric wheel. There is no end, there is no freedom. If we come to recognize that the perpetual conclusion of that terrible fate is the absence of life, we suddenly have a choice. Will I succumb to the continual desires of my ego or could there possibly be another option? This is the beginning of that hard-earned journey into the voluntary cycles that encompass the revolution of our consciousness.

To note – we cannot assume we will be given the privilege to die and be reborn again and again. If mercy provides us with that opportunity without having worked for it, we could call that a miracle. If mercy allows us due to having worked for it...another miracle. We can see in this example that nothing is to be taken for granted. We are children learning to become the Men and Women we were born to be. High integrity, honest, empowered, and reverent human beings, useful in service to the whole of humanity and beyond. What else is worth living for?

The act of birth is an act of truth. What we birth is a result of our previous mind plus our every action up to the moment of crowning. Either we are constantly giving birth to ideas, new thoughts, and new emotions or we are “birthing” or rather replicating old patterns, behaviors, and tendencies that become stronger with every unconscious repetition of the ingrained habitual way of being.

You are birth. Man or woman, you have this innate ability to bring forth. It is your responsibility to do so with great care and caution, knowing that every consequence is preceded by an action, conscious or unconscious. May your life be consequential, in that it is used to enhance the lives of all of those who know you, love you, or even despise you. Love the latter more and the alchemy of love shall reveal itself and its majesty to you.

We cannot change the world until we accept we are the world. This is the new conversation.
