Do You Dream?

Q: Do You Dream?

A: There are many types of dreams, both in waking life and while “asleep”. Dreaming in one sense is the exploration of my mind while lying horizontal during the darker hours of the nighttime rhythm. In this case, I see dreaming as a precious gift if utilized correctly. Dreams can be wishy and they can be washy. By this I mean, I could dream into my desires and fulfill them even if they are not in my highest. I can hide behind my dreams and “act out” what I would never do in the light of day. Or, I can learn from them. I can practice my inner art of navigating the astral realms by making choices aligned with my pure heart. I can pray there and receive guidance. I can say no to fantasy and yes to reality. I can journey further in my dreams than I can here on earth and much faster. If I am courageous enough, I will listen to the bold requests of my Being that I can only access in that delicate state between the veils.

Dreaming in my waking life can also be beautiful if I am careful to not get lost. To dream, to reach for the possibility, to stay open to what could be and keep an eye on the vast horizon of the unknown while staying true to my heart. I love to Dream. I love to envision a new future, where virtue triumphs over vice and we are no longer slaves to our own self-imposed imprisonment. I dare to leap into my Faith while dancing with threads of all colors, painting a dream upon the skyscape of my mind. Everything is possible, everything. And I am responsible for living my dreams into a reality. May they be bold. May they be true. May they be.
