Are You on the Trajectory of the Churn?
Q: Are You on the Trajectory of the Churn?
A: If I am a human being on planet earth nearing the new decade of 2020, then there is no way that I am not churning, deeply. And for those of you who are not “in the churn” according to your personal opinion…I respectfully disagree, from my perspective…you are.
What does it mean to be on this trajectory of sorts? From over here, it seems that we are all being fortified, tested, and squeezed if you will. It is up to each of us to approach this consciously or unconsciously. When we have an opportunity to have foresight, it would behoove us to listen rather than dismiss. However, history has shown us that as stubborn as we are as a species, we generally do not learn until we are in a retrospective mood.
Let’s get specific. Government, ecology, relationships, resources. Are we feeling stabilized and comfortable in our own skin? My guess is that three out of four of those areas are calling your attention for revision within your own personal sphere of being.
How about a self-inventory check? Do I feel aligned with the trajectory of our nation? If not, where am I being aloof, non-committal, checked-out? Do I know my own personal core values and principles? From where do I live, breathe, speak, feel, think on a daily basis? Am I doing my inner work? Am I doing my part to reverse my carbon-footprint? How about my level of ignorance in general? Am I working to know ‘thyself’, the universe, and its Gods?
In relationship, am I showing up? In honesty and in reality? Am I doing my part, or am I co-creating an unsustainable illusion? One full of suffering because of complacency, and I am scared to leap into my truth? Do I know what my truth is? Am I willing to seek it, cost what it may? Am I willing to ignite a possibility of love, knowing there is a risk of getting hurt? Do I take the chance and feel my heart as I haven’t before, knowing that we live in a temporal world? I then ask, what is it that is eternal within me that I can lean into and circulate around, my true center of gravity?
And am I abundant? Is my relationship to money a healthy one? Do I have enough? Aren’t I always provided for? Is my identity wrapped up in my bank account? Do I have plenty and suffer because I may not have in the future? Do I have little and am never satisfied, craving more and more? Do I give generously and can I give more? Where is my inner peace? Are there dollar signs in the way? How can I relax into money, as a neutral force of energy that allows me to navigate? Must I first remember why I am here to begin with and to whom I belong to deep inside my heart?
Am I useful? This is the big one. My personal why…may I be useful. And if I find myself in any moment out of alignment with my why, I have my answer. I then have a point of reference, a true measurable that can lead me back to home, to my one and only…the eternal, the grace, the everything is possible.
Astrology can be a tool for reference, providing some insight into the perceived madness of the state of affairs. It always comes back to us, to who we are being and to why are we being. In perfect Libran equanimity, this full moon expresses a paradox of vital proportion. With a notable exact square from Pluto, there is no escape from the trudging up of our compulsions, the exposure of our deep-seated fears, and the temptations from self-destructive behaviors. On the other side of the scale, we have an exact trine from Jupiter to the Aries moon which encourages a depth of personal resource, resilience, and ability to leap forward into progress with strength and unwavering power.
The moon has two faces, one we can see and one which is unknown to our eyes. We are often blind to our unconscious desires, thoughts, emotions, and other inner states that we are unaware of, yet they have a tremendous amount of influence in our daily lives. Pluto in the mix of these astrological influences assures us that we will have an opportunity to see what we haven’t wanted to face before.
The Libran sun energy illuminates our journey to seek balance and of envisioning the ideal.
Rose-colored glasses can assist us in darker times and yet we require a constant level of vigilance to stay true to who we are and to live our truth. Jupiter’s radiance is a stand for this truth and encourages the Aries warrior/ess within us to keep going, honorably through the challenges that arise.
Keep going! If we accept the churn and embrace the invitation for metamorphic change in the inner places, then we’ve got this. The external reflects the internal. Take inventory of your moment and contemplate deeply on this question:
Who am I being?
A story only matters, I suspect, to the extent that people in the story change.
